THE PRECIPITOUS SUCCESS of The Dark Side of The Moon left them all dazed and confused. “An album like this was the reason we had formed the band, back in 1965, and it really was difficult to even begin to think in terms of a follow-up to it because it sold in such huge amounts,” says Mason. “We did start a follow-up, and the idea was to make an album not using any musical instruments at all – just to use household objects. It seemed like a good idea at the time.” Two years later, though, they released Wish You Were Here , which some feel is superior to The Dark Side of The Moon.
Jetzt sind zwei neue Varianten von Dark Side of the Moon veröffentlicht worden. Die Dark Side Of The Moon Experience Edition mit 2 CDs und die Dark Side Of The Moon Immersion Box mit 3 CDs, 2 DVDs und einer Blue-Ray Disc.
Was ich erstaunlich finde, ist der Erfolg von Dark Side of the Moon – ich fand Wish You Were Here immer besser.
